We are friends with the author, who probably runs the largest pipe organ website in English and German. He took the photos himself and even today, decades after he started his hobby, he travels all over the world "in the matter" of pipe organs. One of the very conservative composers calendars. It is about historical and famous paintings. You can find all of them on the internet, and they are all in the public domain meanwhile. But they are not available there in a quality that you need for a big wall calendar, not for the size DIN A2 (... check here, what's that in centimeters and in inches). That's why we were looking for an artist who is able to repaint all these masterpieces. We found one and decided on twelve of the twelve most famous paintings of these twelve masters of music. The one you see above, however, is not the most conservative composers calendar. And for one reason: It's the common blue background. The Angels Calendar, what a music calendar! How much have we searched for the right angels and then decided on the noblest. They are the angels of the company "Wendt & Kühn" and of course we asked there for permission to offer this Angels Calendar. Important: It is not ( ! ) a Wendt & Kühn offer. Still today we are happy about this permission. Until these twelve motifs corresponded to our ideas, we photographed them a whole three times. Only then were we really satisfied with the lighting and also the mirrors.

Then one had to "get hold" of them and finally they had to be scanned in a very high quality, so that they are still well readable on the small music calendar.
